A good place to start with the whole issue of home inspection insurance is to define just what it is. In its simplest term, it is malpractice insurance for home inspectors. Just like any professional these days, home inspectors can get sued if something goes wrong with a house they have inspected.

Simply go online and use a search engine like Yahoo or Google, and type in: home inspection insurance, and you will get a whole host of firms that carry it.
The next step is to visit their web sites and get some information on what sort of policies they carry. Different firms may cover different areas of the country.
After all, an inspector in New England will be looking at homes that feel winter’s wrath; whereas houses in Florida will be built to hurricane standards. Once you find a decent company, see what their rates are for a good home inspection insurance policy.
